Music marks new beginnings. As we welcome the New Year and new school term, music and book lovers connect at the Central Library to celebrate Chinese New Year through music. Young musicians from the Singapore Youth Philharmonic Orchestra (SYPO), SYPO Preparation Class, and prize winners present festive performances filled with energy, tradition and hope, bringing music, stories and young minds together in celebration. This recital will also feature Chinese New Year works, including the vibrant《大地回春》(“Spring Returns to the Earth”) specially arranged and conducted by our talented young composer, Chia Ren Cher. @chiarencher
