SYPO’s first ever music camp from 26-28 Nov 2024 featured many activities, including a sharing of the extraordinary impact of El Sistema, a showcase of violins from the Rin Collection, a Hands On Recording Experience and meeting with award-winning violinist Ms Kam Ning.

On the first day, we welcomed two distinguished guests: Ms. Jessica Maria Lopez, Venezuelan Ambassador to Singapore, and Mr. Sergio Gutierrez, Venezuelan musician and former member of Sistema Nacional de Orquestas

The event highlighted the extraordinary impact of El Sistema, a global music education initiative that has brought hope and opportunity to thousands of young people worldwide.

On the second day, we were incredibly honored to welcome Mr. Rin Hong Wei from Rin’s Collection and our Music Director, Mr. Luo Wei, for an extraordinary session featuring some of the world’s finest violins.

On the last day, our young musicians dived into their very first recording workshop! Huge thanks to our Recording Engineer, Mr. Hugo Aik, for guiding them through this incredible journey of learning and creativity.
